ANALISIS KELAYAKAN PENGEMBANGAN LEMBAGA TRANSAKSI UBIKAYU ANTARA PETANI DAN INDUSTRI TAPIOKA AVEBE

ABSTRACT :

The main problem of farmers ubikayu and tapioca industry in Lampung Province ubikayu that is the price fluctuation and relatively low productivity ubikayu the low, low production, so the supply to industry is also low, but the tapioca industry tends to increase because world demand is also increasing.
Research aims to find out (1) the feasibility of agro-business by tapioca Avebe partnership with the review of aspects of financial, social, and management, (2) the size of the transaction costs as a reasonable compensation for
institutions that formed a partnership, (3) the form and structure of the organization is eligible institution partnerships developed. Research conducted with the case study approach in the prospective companies in the Village of Avebe Sidodadi Asri, Jatiagung Subdistrict, South Lampung Regency. Data
used include the primary and secondary data. Data are analyzed with descriptive-quantitative method using financial analysis. Results of research indicate that, (1) tapioca agro-business by Avebe
partnership with the institutions for the supply of raw materials are fresh ubikayu feasible managerial developed with the minimum purchase price per kg Rp.196.25 fresh ubikayu; economical age of 10 years with the calculation of Pi
2.1068, PBP 1 year 8 months, arr 158.10%, NPV Rp.89, 507,202,123.00, and 85.09% 1RR; hila production decrease of 20% or increase in variable costs up to 20% this investment was still feasible, (2) the amount of compensation for agency partnerships is Rp.20.64 per kg ubikayu consists of the cost
transaction Rp.1 1.80 per kg ubikayu and benefits Rp.8.84 per kg ubikayu, and
(3) organizations form a partnership that is feasible to be developed corporately limited. Poverty of farmers and ubikayu not rutinnya supply ubikayu for tapioca factory in Lampung Province presumably can be solved with (1) need to form partnerships with institutions azas mutual benefit, (2)
government to provide ease of establishing and developing institutional partnerships and licensing in the case of capital, (3) conduct research to explore alternative forms of partnership more profitable farmers.
